Home M3AAWG Blog M3AAWG 5: Threat Hunting

Author: Alex Brotman, Co-chair, Data & Identity Protection

Welcome to M3AAWG 5, our video series where we interview leaders and experts on prominent issues and emerging threats across our industry.

Today, we're joined by Herb Roitblat Ph.D., Principal Data Scientist for Mimecast.  Herb spent the first part of his career working on topics ranging from biosonar to neural networks while a professor at University of Hawaii.  He is also the author of "Algorithms Are Not Enough: Creating General Artificial Intelligence".  Herb also was gracious enough to join us for M3AAWG 52 and provide us with some insights about Threat Hunting.

We thought perhaps we should share his knowledge with a more general audience. Herb was able to sit down with us again to briefly discuss Threat Hunting, and the basics of how Threat Hunting could be advantageous to your organization.

To get involved with the M3AAWG Data & Identity Protection Committee,  you can email data-and-identity-protection-chair@mailman.m3aawg.org . M3AAWG members be sure to join the Data & Identity Protection Committee from the Committee/SIGs homepage.
