The Messaging Malware Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) is pleased to announce a new series - Technology Summaries. The purpose of Technology Summaries is to provide a concise overview of a technically complex subject that is accessible to a range of knowledge levels.  The summaries will cover a variety of disciplines working in the fight against online abuse.

This format will also support those seeking to increase their knowledge through cross-discipline learning.  Our singular connection is fighting online abuse but that requires knowledge of many areas that overlap across disciplines.

Technology Summaries will be kept to one page and the experts will be writing in simple language.  This format will drive efficiencies, identifying just the most relevant information, methods and practices.

While the summaries don’t cover everything on each subject the key points take center stage. Authors will focus on common misconceptions and thinking surrounding their topic. The goal is to steer the reader in the right direction. Each topic will also include additional references for readers seeking more information.

Technology Summaries opens with Email Authentication and will soon be followed by Senders Policy Framework (SPF) and Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM). With more than 20 topics in the pipeline, we will announce the arrival of new summaries as they become available. You can find Technology Summaries under the ‘For the Industry’ tab on the M3AAWG website. If you have any topic suggestions, please let us know via our Contact Us page!

Join the experts for an easy walk-through on some tough topics. See you in the summaries!
