Home London Financial Track

In June 2020, the Messaging, Malware, and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG.org) will hold its 49th General  Meeting in London, England at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel. M3AAWG is excited for the opportunity to host its first London based meeting. London is home to a large swath of the European banking world which gives us an opportunity to engage with new financial entities, beyond our current membership.  M3AAWG is planning a series of collaborative sessions focused on areas of concern to financial organizations doing business on the internet as they overlap with the regular anti-abuse work done by M3AAWG.

We are still in the process of developing the content for this meeting, however, some of the broad themes and topics that will be of interest to the financial sector will include: domain authentication best practices and recommendations, business email compromise mitigation, malware affecting the financial world, mobile threats including SIM swapping, new messaging protocols, multi-channel attacks, phishing and DDoS countermeasures.

M3AAWG welcomes and will consider outside submissions for presentations, panels, and keynotes. Content may be proposed via https://m3aawg.org/submissions. This is a unique opportunity for the financial sector to tell experts working in the field of anti-abuse their concerns, discuss new and emerging threats and find new contacts and opportunities to collaborate within a trusted community of cybersecurity experts all working to curb abuse across the internet.
