Over the past few years, M3AAWG has worked with AfricaCERT and other organizations to present its mission and raise awareness of the resources M3AAWG has available to the region. M3AAWG subject matter experts have provided overviews of topics such as DDoS Mitigation, BGP Hijacking Defense, and Abuse Desk best practices at multiple African Internet Summits.

Our goal with AfricaCERT in 2020 is to help establish AF-AAWG, a working group focused on education and resources for African ISPs and universities.
