- Account Registration: Upon launch, all members will be required to create new login credentials using an approved M3AAWG membership domain.
- Profile Customization: To maintain a tailored experience, members must re-select their preferred Priority Committees, SIGs, and Initiatives within their new profiles.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Account Registration
- Visit Request Member ID & Login (accessible via M3AAWG homepage > Members menu)
- Complete the form. You will be required to use your company email address, which will also be the email that you’ll use for all mailing lists, committees/sigs and initiatives.
- M3AAWG staff will approve your request.
- You will receive an email with instructions for updating your password.
- Go to the M3AAWG website and use Forgot Password (accessible via the Members menu)
- Enter your email address and submit the form.
- An email will arrive with a link to reset your password.
- Log in to the website with your new password.
Step 2: Committee, SIG, and Initiative Membership
- ALL Members must rejoin Committees, SIGs, and Initiatives to receive call calendar invites and mailing list communications.
- Click on the "Join Now" button for a Committee, SIG, or Initiative.
- M3AAWG Program Managers will assign Committee Chair /Vice Chair, SIG Leader, and/or Initiative Champion roles on applicable member accounts.
Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enrollment Process
For the smoothest enrollment experience, please use a normal browser window rather than Incognito/Private Browsing mode. Private browsing can interfere with the authentication process and may result in incomplete registration or login issues. Use a standard browser window and complete the entire enrollment process in the same session. Do not close your browser, clear cookies, or switch between normal and Incognito windows during setup.
When prompted during login, you will be guided through a short setup process.
M3AAWG SSO login page
After entering your M3AAWG credentials, you may be prompted to complete MFA enrollment.
You may be asked to scan a QR code using an authenticator application such as:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
- 1Password
- Password Manager Apps
- Other TOTP-compatible applications
Once setup is complete, you will verify your first authentication code to finalize enrollment.
What Happens After Enrollment
After enabling 2FA:
- You will be prompted for a verification code during future logins
Future M3AAWG Platform Access
As M3AAWG continues to introduce additional member platforms and services, future access to those systems will leverage Single Sign-On (SSO) using your M3AAWG account credentials.
This means your M3AAWG account will become the centralized authentication method for accessing current and upcoming member services. As part of this security model, 2FA enrollment will also be required for access to these future platforms and integrated services.

Account compromise remains one of the most common attack vectors across online services and professional communities. Implementing 2FA significantly reduces the likelihood of unauthorized account access, even if passwords are exposed through phishing, reuse, or third-party breaches.
