To apply for membership in the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG), please complete this online form and download the M3AAWG Bylaws & Governing Documents and the Membership Agreement. All new memberships must be accepted by the M3AAWG Board of Directors. All memberships must be renewed by the M3AAWG Board of Directors every 12 months from the date of application acceptance.

Membership rights and privileges will commence in accordance with the M3AAWG Bylaws after the membership is accepted and payment is received, unless an exception is approved. New members will not be listed in the public M3AAWG member roster and cannot display a M3AAWG logo or make any statement of membership on their website or in other organization materials, blogs or social media accounts for the first 12 months of their membership and can only do so after their membership is renewed for another 12 months. After the initial 12-month membership, companies that are renewed can request a M3AAWG full logo including the tagline for their website and can post on social media following the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group Communications Policy provided in the Governing documents. The Board of Directors can grant an exception.

Please note: M3AAWG works to develop technical and operations best practices to fight Internet abuse. We are not a deliverability or reputation forum. We do not lobby government bodies on regulations or legislation. Our membership acceptance criterion covers more than asking if an organization is following the "rules" and staying out of trouble. The membership criteria states: "the Board will assess the applicant’s potential to contribute positively...." “Positively” in this context has many facets, including technical expertise in fighting abuse and public positions on fighting potential abuse.
